Tyler grew up in the West End of Richmond. After high school, he attended James Madison University, where he studied Communication. Since 2020, Tyler has served as an Area Director for Young Life in Botetourt County. In June 2025, Tyler, his wife Carly, and their son Oakley moved to Virginia Beach, where he began working for Tidewater. Tyler is passionate about serving others and investing in the community he lives in.
